We only stayed 3 nights, as we were in a hurry, but glad we chose this comfortable hotel. The cleaning staff took care of us. We had a spacious room with bathtubs. 10 mins walk to the center. In the evening we visited Le Djemi's, set very close to the property...

The bed was extremely comfortable. 2nd arr. District was definitely worth visiting.

The hotel is close to a great many good restaurants, next to the river where you can stroll and in a quiet square. We enjoyed walking in the local area and it was only a short walk to the main shopping street in Lyon and the main town square. The hop on – Hop off bus was good and the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourviere is worth a visit. Some of the reception staff were very helpful. The room was small but very clean and good enough for just a flop and drop couple of days.
Some of the staff were not very helpful. They were not interested when the wifi didn't work in the bedroom. I am sure they knew about but feigned ignorance. It was a minor inconvenience but the deceit was most annoying. For the cost it wasn’t good value or service.

Great central Lyon location. Double room was a good size, nice big bathroom. Fantastic place to stay if you're visiting central Lyon. If you have a car and are travelling around, then there is parking just over the other side of the river which was secure. Within a few minutes walk are the cobbled streets where all the bars and restaurants are. It was hugely entertaining and buzzy, with great food and lots of variety - even on a Monday night!
The breakfast was a little on the stingy side for the price and considering we were in France's gastronomic capital, plastic tasting "mini" croissant and pain au chocolat were not really what we were expecting.

The hotel was very pleasant, the staff was helpful, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It is well located for visitors whose travel through the city is done mainly on foot. The river is within two blocks, as is the Tourist Information Bureau where one can line up day trips to areas outside the city. A twenty minute walk over the river takes one to the funicular for a ride to the top of Fourviere Hill for a visit to the Notre-Dame Basilica and a wonderful view of the city.
Although one hour of free internet time is available on the hotel's computers, the cost of getting on-line on one's own computer is expensive. Would recommend lowering the rate or providing free wi-fi considering the cost of the room.

Excellent service, clean and atractive rooms, good for the money.
-
large size of the room - biggest room we stayed in while in France
Air conditioning never got the room cool enough for me
-
Good location.
Air conditioning system not working. Lobby small and crowded. Breakfast room small and crowded. Breakfast and service were poor. Hotel staff would not help in finding taxi company where we left our jacket, and therefore was lost. We changed to a different hotel after the first day.

Location, location, location! A very comfortable hotel with high standards of cleanliness. Ideally located for visiting Lyon . being central for the old town,, restaurants and main tourist sights.
-
Very good location, comfortable room, basic breakfast
AC was not enough effective, there was not the regulation of temperature in the room. No PC to use Internet on receiption.
-
Centrally based and reasonably comfortable for one night.
Thought a bit over-priced, but suppose it is city-centre!
-
Location was good.
Elevator was tiny.and there was no bell hop to aid with baggage. The room was miniscule. Could not put clothes in closet. No drawers in room, and T.V. did not work. The shower was so narrow and the floor of the tub was uneven , making it dangerous to stand in shower.
-
unique interior design/decor/style of the hotel; personal service; overall helpfulness and professionalism of staff.
-
The location in the presqu'ile and just across the river from vieux Lyon was perfect for sight-seeing. There was a very nice bar next door for an evening drink and a charming breakfast place at 8.50 euros, also in the same street.
The staff at the desk (one person in particular) were not very friendly or helpful. The so-called 'standard double room' was one very small bed impossible for 2 people and we had to change to a room with 2 beds (therefore more expensive than anticipated). The breakfast at 12 euros was poor value and the dining area uncomfortable.

If you book a standard room, you are in danger to get the rooms 205 and 305 that have not access to daylight (only via an non ventilated light shaft). Such rooms should not be offered at all for 120 € per night. However the staff was flexible to give us an better room with daylight access since the hotel was not fully booked. Otherwise price/service ratio would have been totally unacceptable.
